If it is a 1993 FD or newer they do not have cables.
1991 and older were similar, having a plastic spring clip end at the speedometer end and the screw on plug in at the transmission.
Very small hands can get to the speedometer back from under the dash, you have to have eyes in your fingers. Otherwise the dash unit will need to come out partially. And that would be specific for SA/FB(78-85) or FC(86-91) once free of the speedometer the cable is removed from the engine compartment.

Hello i just got 1995 mercedes benz. and the spedometer is not working. the wiper is not working .and the centra locking is not working i love this car can some one help me pls .

Check the fuses first. Wiper may be the motor assembly needing removal and lubrication. Central locking may be the conveinence relay. Speedometer is likely the cable or gear for it needs replaced. Hop on over to benzworld dot org for forums that can be more specific.

Where is the spedometer sensor?

The sensor should be located on the transfer case where the rear drive shaft goes in.It is just above it not hard to miss and there will be a 10mm bolt and a coller holding it in.Make sure you use a new Oring when reinstalling new sensor.

1997 Geo Metro speedometer and odometer do not work

Let me guess, it goes up to about 30, stays there, and if you go faster (past what would be the halfway point of your speedometer) it starts dropping below 30. It sounds like the type of speedometer that uses two magnetic cores at 90 degrees to each other, and one has gone out.

Troubleshooting and repair should be similar to this: http://www.fieros.de/en/articles/speedo.html
