Here's a link to the part,look's like you just remove electrical connector and remove part.it's by the fan.
There is only one way. Remove the bolts that hold the fan assembly on and removed the fan assembly. You may have to remove the upper radiator hose for clearance.

Place the car on jacks. Remove the seal using a screw driver and a rubber mallet. Remove the carter pen, then the bolt. Remove the bearing. Clean out the eitire wheel area with a good cleaner. REpack the bearing unless it comes pre packed with wheel bearing grease.

Heater controll valve.Look for your heater hose and follow them from the motor.By the look of the part it is cable controled,and has a mounting bracket.It also has two hose nipples that connect at 90 Deg angle.May have a broken cable,but you can slip the round end of the cable off and run it by hand.It may not stay open but a wire tie or piece of string will be a temp fix.
