Luckily I was in front of a pep boy. They checked the light and came up with po100(2)& po325(2). What do you think?

SOURCE: 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5S, Check Engine Light Problem.

this problem could be caused by the mass air flow censor, i had the same problem with my car. it is really pricey at the dealer so you might want to check elsewhere for this part. I found one at a scrap yard for 85% less that the dealer and i also got life time warranty, the dealer does not offer any warranty on this part.

SOURCE: "Service Engine Soon" light flashing 2001 Nissan Quest

You may need to take it to a professional. Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with one of the components or sensors it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and you need to diagnosed and repaired it. The list of possible codes number in the hundreds. The code itself doesn't tell exactly what component is defective - it only indicates where to look, or what engine parameter is out of normal range. A technician will have to perform further testing to pinpoint cause and the proper repair. He will have the special equipment to check for emission problems. Even if you reset the light, if the underlying problem is not addressed it will come back on.

SOURCE: transmission slips 2000 nissan maxima

Hello,
From what you have described it sounds like the transmission control solenoid pack is hanging up and needs to be replaced.

When you shut the car off it resets the position of the soleniod allowing it to work for a while before it gets hung up again.

Overtime turning it off and back on again won't anymore.

Are you sure the solenoids were new and installed correctly?
Sometimes the replacments you buy are of a worse quality. Their probably is another issue causing your soleniods to wear faster than they are supposed to and when you install inferior quality replacments they may just wear out quicker. I'm not saying this your problem just an idea.

If you haven't changed the fluid and filter in a while then that definetly would be the next thing I would do before anything else.

You can check your fluid to see if its dark and smells burned or if its clean and lighter colored.

I really hope this gets you headed in the right direction and good luck.
If you feel I've helped in any way please give me a fixya rating,

SOURCE: Nissan Altima 2000 - Engine oil leaking problem.

replace the front oil seal. first i would clean the engine with purple power (degrease etc.) then look at the engine and make sure the leak is not coming from above like possibly the valve cover gasket or from the oil sending unit. try to tighten the bolts on the valve cover and even the oil pan. you never know, you may get lucky. i don't know where you are but front seals are cheap but the labor on the job is what costs you.

My 2006 Altima used to be HORRIBLE. The engine would sometimes be hard to start. Bucked like crazy. It would stall randomly if I was stopped or driving slowly (stopping or going for a light, while slowing down during turns). After a couple calls, over a period of months, checking for recalls they finally said there was a recall on the entire engine. Thank goodness my car was still under its 100K miles. Nissan fixed it, as they should. They also claimed the crank sensors needed to be replaced & that my engine mount was cracked. We just paid for all that b/c we were finally glad to have the engine problem resolved free of charge. Loooong story short, have your local dealer check for recalls.
