What does that F5 fuse power up? Start by disconnecting each item that gets power from that F5 fuse one at a time until you isolate the shorted circuit or component. Most of this type of repair requires a wiring diagram so I suggest if you can't locate the problem you buy the factory service manual.

SOURCE: fuse keeps blowing

If fuse keeps blowing that means that there is a shortage on AC wiring or switch controlling the air conditioner.

Also an abnormal power draw from AC caused by an internal fault on AC can cause the fuse to blow.
Test wiring and switch with a voltmeter, the most common is that there is a short to ground between wiring and car body somewere.

SOURCE: 2000 jeep wrangler fuse keeps blowing?? What do I

That or the wiring to it is shorted at some point. Remove the connection at the center back of the socket and replace the fuse--if ok, replace or repair the socket. If still blows fuse, check the wire you removed for damage near any metal object.

Have a 2000 chevy 3500 and the #9 fuse blows random. i tried to make it blow and if the truck sits there it will blow on its own.

most likely the reason it keeps blowing that fuse is because some sort of short in line with that fuse im not sure what the #9 fuse is for but i suggest checking your wiring for that fuse if you look on the fuse panel door it should give you some hint search for melted loose broken wires.. goodluck

2000 honda civic vp keeps blowing low beam fuses left and right.

Fuses nearly always blow because of a bad earth. The switch only needs to short for a moment and the fuse will blow.

See if you can find a replcement swtich from a local breaker's yard or ebay and go on from there.

Fuse #12 for 2000 lincoln towncar keeps blowing

fuses are a safety device. they are made to blower when to much load is drawn over them. some component on the circuit is shorting out. if possible unplug all the items on that circuit. put in a new fuse, then reconnect component one at a time until the fuse blows again. a process of elimantion. it may take some time, but it will be expensive to take it to a dealership.
