I have a 99 Porsche 911. I replaced the batteries on the fobs from both sets of keys i have and they each stopped working at the same time. The red light doesn't flash or anything. I don't want to pay the $260 each i was quoted by the dealer to replace them. Can I repair or reprogram them myself? Thanks, Josh White
Make sure + side of battery is facing up in your key then place key in ignition hold down button 1 your door lock unlock button for 20/30 sec. If not try in driver door unlock car manually with key turned hold down button 1 for 20/30 sec. hope this helps it works for me.
I have the same problem with my 1995 Porsche 911. I was quoted $260 for the key fob and $70 to program it. Sheesh!
