There are several possible issues here. The ABS light will turn on when
- brake fluid level is low
- the pads need replacing (maybe)
- the ABS control fuse / relay system has a problem.
- a wheel sensor is not not connected or broken, or there's dirt/snow on a wheel hub sensor ring.
- the ABS computer is dead.
- the ABS control valve block has a pressure problem.
Your brakes will still function safely, but with no ABS action.
The ABS computer has an error port, like the ECU has. The dealer should have the tool to read any ABS error code.
If you are technically competent, pull the wheels off and check the ABS sensor ring and sensors for dirt and cable connections.
