Noise when pressing on the brakes

I drive 12 miles to work. The closer I get to work the more noise I hear. I do have to use brakes alot. The noise sounds like something that is turning, and the noise is a boom, boom, boom.
I did take my car in late February.. They said it was the front stabilizer shaft. They said there was no problem with the brakes.

I would have the brakes looked at again and specifically the rotors . sounds like they may be warped . .that noise and it getting louder is possibly due to them heating up the more they are used

So did you get the stabilizer replaced?

Rubbing noise on rear brake 2008 g5

Disc or caliper? Age and miles on brakes? Front brakes do 70% of stopping power. Obviously, disc or drum is rubbing. If disc, probably need to replace caliper.

When in Drive or Reverse I have a loud screeching noise that will disappear at 45 miles or more or over 2000 RPM.

Manual or automatic transmission? Do you hear the noise in gear and not moving or when your moving?

My 1984 mustang only has 60,000 miles. When i put my car into drive I hear a loud noise coming from the engine. it has enough oil, its not the brakes, or driving belt. the car drives fine, like nothin

Not much we can do without knowing where the noise is coming from. It could be something rubbing because the engine is shifting. It could be moving around when in drive such as a weak motor mount. Or the crankshaft could be moving under load.
You may need to have a friend watch the engine from the side to see if anything is changing when you go from park to drive. You can also use a section of hose as a hearing device to pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

My 99 accord's wheel squeals while driving but stops as soon as i press the brakes. Sometimes the noise will stop after driving a few miles but other times it wont make the noise at all.

have your brake pads checked out, often they are so close to finnished that they make a noise when not applied, as soon as you apply them they press on the last bit of padding left and the noise goes away.
