2003 Chevy S10 Pickup fast flashing signal lights

Hi, My Chevy S10 Pickup has had a history of fast flashing signal lights ever since I hooked up my brand new trailer to it. GM could never fix the problem while the warranty was on it. The turn signals flash very fast, but the 4-ways flash normally.

Now the back lights don't work at all and the front signal lights are still flashing fast. I have replaced the rear passanger-side bulb, but it did no good. I'll check the fuse box to see if everything is OK there. Thanks, Will

Thanks to everybody who tried to help me. I broke down and had it checked. The truck needed new fuses. The lights now work in the back, but still flash fast from time to time. The trailer's lights must have a short in them somewhere. It was recommended that I replace my trailer light. Thanks for your help! The right turn signal still flash fast though.

Recheck your wire harness to your trailer hook up. You may have a short in the wire. Good luck

and google tells me the same no frisky scanners posted copyright books online, oops.

the books you do see are 3rd party, like Haynes publishing. not chevy.
and very expensive as the books too are RARE and out of print.
Clymer , chiltions and haynes, be costly to buy 3 and no chapter on diesel.

Turn Signal Problems

Usually when they flash very fast it means a bulb is bad, but if no reverse lights either it might be a short in the wires.
