Brake lights stay on 2001 chevy s 10

When i shut off my truck my brake lights stay lit. if i pull fuses and get my hazard flashers working then the lights will shut off. if i get the hazards working as soon as i touch the brake pedal my hazards stop working and my brake light stay lit up. i also have my abs and parking light come on on my instrument panel some times if i go over a bump or if i am carrying a load of dirt gravel lumber etc.

Why does the Flasher unit buzz when I turn the flashers on. My 1995 .5 Isuzu Rodeo. Also the rear antilock brake light is on and the emergency brake light is on my Dash..alsomy dashboard lights dont work...

Your flasher is buzzing because it's a piezo instead of a flasher. I don't know how that would have been connected, but it is. Replace it with a flasher. The E brake light is on because the pull handle is still out just enough to connect it or it stays on because the antilock brake light is lit. Your dash and run lights have a blown fuse, headlights are on a separate fuse is why they still work. Water leaking from the roof shouldn't effect the electrical circuits, but most likely you have a wire or so crossed in the system.

Turn signals not working, Toyota Tundra 2000

Hazards work only when lights are off. Left signal light stays lit on the dash and does not blink and is stuck on (lit up) when lights are lit. If I place hazards on while lights are on only right side flashes and whole dash lights flash too... I replaced the flasher relay and it still does not work. Suggestions anyone? Thanks!

The brake lights won't go out. I pulled the fuse so the battery doesn't go dead, but can't figure out why they are staying lit.

on your brake pedal there is a switch that controls your brake lights over time it comes to lose just enough for the switch won't come in contact with the pedal

Breaklights do not work nor do hazards all fuses ok,switch is also good..blinkers work fine.. stumpt

The hazard flasher is a separate flasher by itself for the directional has its own. The brake lights work off the brake light switch mounted by the brake pedal

Hazard lights on steady in the off position

Please locate the fuse in the fuse box. there must be a failure from there. Take the car for a scan too.

No rear brake light / turn signals on 2001 Chevy Cavalier

The problem is the turn signal/headlight/hazard switch assembly on the steering column which the brake light wiring runs through. The part is easy to change and cost about $50 at most parts stores
