In my 2001 Dodge Stratus, both my back windows & driver windows will not roll down. But passenger window will roll down with driver switch. Also, the doors won't lock on driver side, but will on passenger side.

I had this same problem I changed the master switch in the driver door and it fixed the windows and it may be your power lock switch there to.

Also. You will need star pattern drivers to remove the window and motor from your door. If you have all the equipment it should only take you 1 hour.

SOURCE: 1999 Dodge Durango driver side window does not roll up nor down.

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.

SOURCE: Power windows will not roll down or up

If your other switches don't work, and the master is not locked, you need a new master as it is keeping the others from working.

No relay involved , could be the driver door master switch . But i see more broken wire's inside the flex boot from the body to the driver door . All the power window switches get power from driver master switch . Look for a broken tan (B+ ) supply or black ground wire . Without testing ,this would be just a guess . Take hold of the boot an wiggle .

I would suspect the window switch on the door. Sounds like the down switch part off the switch may not be working. Before replacing the switch I would get some spray that is made to clean electrical contacts. Should have it at any auto parts store or even radio shack. Spray the electrical contacts on the switch and clean it up real good and see how it does.

Passenger Side Windows arent working

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU EITHER NEED A NEW WINDOW REGULATOR. THE MOTOR MAY STILL BE GOOD BUT THE REGULATOR MAY NOT BE ALLOWING THE WINDOW TO ROLL DOWN OR UP, BECAUSE IT IS WORN OUT.

I can roll the window down with the passenger side switch but to roll it up i have to use the master on the drivers side. it a 2002 dodge ram 2500

I am assuming that the switch from the drivers side will roll the window down and up for all windows, so this is going to be a worn out or defective window switch in the passenger door. These are quite easy to change, and can get the part from the dealer for usually at or around $50.

The armrest cover will pop up where the switch is with a little effort, flip the cover over and remove the plug to the switch. The switch has usually 4 tabs that will need to be pried gently back and the switch housing will release. Install the new switch housing, attach wire plugs, and it's plug and play! This will correct the problem.

Window and lock switches use a small plastic piece that presses down on metal tabs. These plastic parts wear out, or I have even seen them get hot and melt if pressed and held down by kids playing with the window buttons.

Hope this helps, let me know.

The windows don't work right

If the passenger front window switch operates up & down correctly the left drivers side switch is bad and needs a replacement switch
