Need a little more detail to what "Won't even turn over" means. Are you saying the engine does not crank or are you saying it cranks, but will not fire and run?
There is an Inertia switch for the fuel pump power. The switch is usually behind the kick panels in the cabin. It has a reset button and will work normally when reset.
A small amount of Starting fluid, sprayed in an air intake, will allow a fuel starved engine to fire or even run briefly. This will verify that lack of fuel is the problem.
Now if you are not getting a "click" from the starter, check both the Brake pedal lever or the clutch pedal lever if it is a stick. To operate some Models of Ford's these pedals must be pressed while you crank.
Now if the starter is hitting the flywheel, and you have a no crank situation, you may have bound up piston rings. If you are saying the engine is locked up, about all you can do it remove the spark plugs, spray in WD 40 and try to turn the crankshaft with a breaker bar.
Now with 5 years going by, its possible that animals may have chewed the wiring. So without knowing your exact symptoms, I have given you a few things to check. Maybe I hit the solution at random. So if this does not help, try again and add more details to the problem description.
Could be fuses or wiring but i would tap on the starter with a hammer or heavy wrench it is maybe stuck and that will break it free

welcome-
some time when you install the fuel pump the metal lines that are on the pump get bent. if you bend them upwards you might get better fuel pressure. and have you checked the fuel pressure regulator? that i might also be shot.
thanks
Tom

It sounds like you aren't getting fuel out of the cold start injector... remove the injector when engine is cold and switch on ignition... you should get a fine spray pattern for a few seconds... if not then there is probably a problem with the cold start circuit (Temp sensor fault), or the injector is faulty. pull electrical connectors one at a time and look for corrosion... Hope this helps...;-)

If all the coils are giving spark now, then you moat likely have gas fouled plugs now,so change them out with new ones, all 8 of them.If you do not have spark on all plug wires, pull the timing belt cover, and align the cam shaft and the cam,to see if the belt has jumped. If It hasn`t,replace the crankshaft sensor.
Testimonial: "makes sense...no answer on reset...assume not necessary...will report back when I obtain a start. All plugs fouled...some filthy with dirt!"

hello, usually when gas sets in carb for a long time it turns into a varnish, you will have to take carb apart and clean all jets out, even the fuel pump may be clogged up, you will probably have to rebuild carb, unless you have access to air line to blow any and all jets, pretty much all passage ways, power jets, in other words you have a carb problem, you may need a new one, unless you have a strong solvent, that will break away any varnish or gum up.

Ethanol really causes problems in cars that sit around. Thanks for us going green huh?It decomposes non-metal parts in the gas system. If the car sits around for something like 6 weeks the gas does go bad.You have to siphon the tank as much as possible. When filling up,add octane boost first then gas.It still may not work though.I did all that for a scooter and it still didn't work.So if you try it,when you add gas, probably only use 4 or 5 gallons,so you don't waste too much money if it doesn't work, and it is enough to mix the octane boost fairly well.Good luck bro'!That's all i have for now.And gas is gas no matter where you buy it.All those additives the companies claim clean this or that is just sales.Since fuel injection came out, companies are required to add a certain amount of detergent to keep injectors clean anyways. And 93 octane is not better than 87 octane enough to pay 20 cents more per gallon.
