My CD player do not work is that why the orange light in my dash board wont go off

Sure about the connection,you are supposed to use audio fuse circuit 2 and or audio fuse 19. the color out are Red/yell, Red/white. This comes from the dash box fuse

body control module is fried

the cd players almost never work in those so i doubt thats related. as far as dash and running light check your accessory fuse in the pana. The are linked. If the fuse blows it all stops working. Usually a 15 or 20 amp fuse

hey mate basically you have put your stereo earth to you illumination light, if it isn't connected to a white with black trace wire then u have connected it up wrong. all you have to do is disconnect the black wire and hook it to white black trace.

1 susepct a connector has not been fitted back correctly so there is a break in the circuit.
2 suspect a fuse has blown during the action this may happen if wires have been exposed.

Bad wire or light switch

Lighting of the lcd ? Could be an internal radio component. Check the web - seems to be fairly common with the radio ( made by Panasonic) where there is a small resistor that gets fried and results in the loss of the lighting . The CD changer also has problems.. I should know.. It happened to my 03 Accord also.. You can get a remanufactured unit on ebay for < $100 . Also, there are online tutorials on how to remove the radio. Good luck

this got easy after a while 2 ways, i had friends who would not take the time to spend 8dollars to buy a harness connector for a new cd player and would splice everything together like takeing the red and yellow wires and connecting them all together as one. this drains ur battery unless ur cd player can completly power down by the power button not all do... but keep this in mind on GM cars the 2 wires of the same wires like purple the one with a black stripe is ground they go together stripe on stripe also there is 2 extra wires one is ORANGE and BROWN u dont need these dont even mess with them even if u have a connector block them off THESE TWO COLORS IS FOR FACTORY STEREO IF SO THESE WIRES CAN AND WILL MAKE IT SO U DONT HAVE DASH LIGHTS so always buy a connector ond dont mess with these wires block them off and dont ground them out.
