Need xtra key for my 2003 acura TL. is there a way to program key to car without taking it to the dealer

The flashing green key is your immobilizer indicator. My recommendation (I am a certified honda tech) is take it to your local acura dealer and have them do a hard reset of the immobilizer and reprogram your keys.

It could also be a bad immobilizer itself. If it is a bad immobilizer, the tech will be able to tell through the diagnostic system used to program keys.

the key you can get from any locksmith and some will also be able to program it for you
or get the key from a dealer service center and have them program it for you

Sadly, without a key, the interior seat release mechanism won't allow the seats to be folded down to access the trunk in that fashion. Do you have a valet key or a second set of keys accessible?
LONGSHOT: If you have a picture of your key, a professional locksmith can cut a key for you from the picture so you can unlatch the back seats.
This is true of second generation TL/TLXs as well.
You may end up having to have a dealer perform a dealer unlock using the electronic interface inside the passenger compartment.

You have an issue with the immobilizer built into the key. You will have to take it to the dealer for further diagnosis.

Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

u need to take ur car to a authorized dealer so they can sell u a new key and re program the sistem, might be just necesary only a new programming

I doubt they did anymore damage but i`ll bet that the engine was damaged from the training going out such as valve guides and seals and carbon build up on plugs ETC.

This should only take 1 hour of shop time , four hours is A rip off .
