that is a dead short, the fuse saved you the ensuing fire.
there are 2 fuses or more... with that name..
old cars love to short things, no lie.

THE CAB FUSE , HAS these (USA cars, other are DIFFERENT)

ignition coil (1 for 4cy, and 1 for v6 engine, unsaid)
on one car there is a IGN fuse 7.5 amps
and runs the ECU and main relay.
there are 3 engines, and drawing for all 3.

get the fsm and use that or login to alldata.com and hope

are you using a factory sensor?i would check the end play on the crank shaft they had a problem with the thrust bearings

load is measured in amps not ohms.ohms is a measure of resistance in a circuit.check the under side of the pdc for corroded wires or shorted wires on the load side of the circuit.

I JUST FINISHED CHANGING MY OWN, THEY ARE DIRECT PLUG AND PLAY, NOW GET OUT THERE AND DO IT

Your turbocharger blows seal , oil leaks to exhaust system.
You need a new turbo.

Is there oil in the turbo?

Is it the 30A MaxiFuse marked IGN 1 or the 60A MaxiFuse marked IGN 2 from the underhood fuse block that blows, or a different fuse? Maybe the 10A IGN 0 fuse in the fuse block?

I HAVE A SPYDER ALSO. ALTHOUGH, I HAVE NEVER HAD THAT ISSUE, THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET THE ALARM TO STAY OFF WITHOUT GOING OFF AGAIN IS BY INSERTING THE KEY INTO THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. THAT RESETS IT PROPERLY.
