My 307 roof come down on my back shelf and seem to be catching it.the shelf flips up but when the roof comes down it keeps touching it

it sounds like the reed switch that activates the parcel shelf is faulty
if the car belonged to me i would go to a renault dealers workshop
they have the knowledge of that roof mechanism and will be able to diagnose and repair

there are two latches in the boot that must be closed. You unlatch them to lift the parcel shelf.

the parcel shelf in the back has to be all the way down. There are two switches it sits on, that have to be activated before the top will go down.

the panel wasn't properly positioned so the roof would not open

faulty motor??????

Sorry, they just don't put manual controls on them. If they did that, How would they be able to sell you expensive electrical parts?

you need to remove the head liner to inspect. try pushing down on the corner that is stuck while trying to open. a lot of the time the back of the roof gets wedged against the roof roof.lol. and it needs to go down before it will go back

Can you first look in the owners manual , there is a procedure for simple solutions .

If there is a problem with the shelf in the trunk the roof will not function properly.

open the trunk and pull the lever , does the shelf move up and down or is it jammed .

If it does not work the shelf needs replacement .

Ascan tool may be needed to read ant logged faults .

Hi ya can you help my peugeot 307 cc hardtop opens with np problems. But when closing the roof goes back into place but the boot lid parts that hides the roof doesn't shut can anyone help I'm driving round with the roof down. Help

check the parcel shelf has been refitted correctly as there is a micro switch on the left hand side that stops the second stage of the roof from opening

hi,seem only adjustment of micro switch,to detect which switch are need to adj.you need to send to dealer.

That is not the problem the problem is your convertable roof is not closing properly to test this let someone press down on the roof lid and then try to open the trunk, To fix this let the roof lid open and let the roof come up until the back part stands up to let the roof lid close so that the roof hold is exposed look on the right hand side of the car (if your standing at the back) under the roof lid catch there is a small plastic buttun that the roof lid catch needs to pres down on, this tells the car that the roof lid is seucre and it is now safe to let open the trunk, All you have to do is set the tension on the cable for that roof lid catch and the problem is sorted.
