The Dodge Caravan has about 60k miles and runs flawlessly most of the
time. In the last month or so with increasing frequency, after driving
for at least 8 miles, at lower RPMs (traffic lights or decelerating)
the engine will occasionally run rough and sometimes stall. Once it
stalls I have to wait about 5 minutes or so before it will start. The
car is a dedicated CNG model. At first I considered a fuel line freeze,
but it occurs at low tank levels as well as full. The onset of the
issue is abrupt, the engine is trying to run but missing badly, not a
smooth loss of power the might be associated with poor fuel flow. After
a restart, it may or may not continue to be an issue. At higher RPMs
(even after a restart) the issue is not evident.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Paul
