Hi, my car is 1995 honda accord lx 4 cylinder, my car won't start, I checked the battery is good all I hear is ticking sound when I turn the ignition switch, I checked all the fuses , no blown fusses found, I tried to start in Nuetral still the same thing, I removed the cover of the steering wheel and removed the main harnase I tried to hot wire I still got the same ticking noise but the starter won't even turn.
I need help, this my only transportation I appreciate any suggestions any ideas.
thank you

Sounds either like the solenoid on the starter is bad or the starter its self.First try turning on your head lights and then trying to start it.If it starts then you have some bad connections either on the battery or the starter. next if that doesnt work Try hitting the starter with a hammer while someone else cranks it.If it starts then the starter is bad..

I called AAA they came and checked the battery, they said the battery is fine it has enough cranking power to turn the starter, he said it might be the ignition switch, any idea how to test the ignition switch.

Your battery does not have sufficient charge to start the vehicle.
Your lights and accessories MAY still turn on. Charge the battery or get a jump.
