you shold have the number in your owners handbook if not you can go to main dealer with v5 log book and id licence etc they will give you the code it may cost 10 pound
I had the same problem with my Digital dash on Reanult 05 megane Scenic. I went ot a website ECUTESTING.COM i removed the dash myself took about 5-10mins and sent it to them they fixed it and sent it back within a week cost £195... all inc and 2 yrs warrenty... check web forums on how to remove your dash...as it may not be the same as mine..
The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard .Then please quote the MAKE + MODEL of your radio plus ALL the LETTERS and NUMBERS on any LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.
There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RG or RN or PH or similar (often found stamped in the metal casing ) and maybe a Security Number in the format of TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode so please quote EVERYTHING you can find
cd player uses the display above the radio on the later model,either take it to reanult garage or put a belson in like mine whic plays USB/SD card/ CD/radio ,it was about 90€ and trust me it brilliant no more cds in car ,just one sd chip 2 gb all my favourite tunez on one device
