Vw golf 08/1994 model Think it has a ghost in it. Major problem is it won't charge the battery. Changed the alternator, bought new battery. Still doesn't charge. Drivers door window keeps trying to windup when its already up. Kicks in and out and continues to do so when car is off and locked. The auto windows sometimes all work then other times it might be just front left and rear right. Have had the rear window stop working randomly. The left hand headlight and taillight random comes when locking the car won't turn off unless you unlock car or disconnect lights. The window problem was the first time the battery went flat. I disconnected the window motor. Approx a few weeks later and battery won't charge. Charged original battery and put in. Check voltage, no charging, brought rpm up and it kicked in. Though was ok. Broke down on wife racq said alternator. Chucked another alternator in and again no charge. Also bought new battery incase dropped cell was causing problem. Still no fix. Next I will be running by past power direct to alternator via relay setup to see if it solves the charging. Does anyone know if the ecu relay 165 906 381 can cause charging problems and all the other ghosts in the car. When I power 85-86a it switches but 85-86 does not. Any suggestions very appreciated.
