Our car will start the first time, but the rest of the day I have to hold the accelerator down a little to get it to start. (It also idles roughly.) I was told by a service tech at mitsubishi that it may be a fuel injector, fuel pump, or fuel filter caused by dirty fuel. I have added lucas fuel injector cleaner the last two tankfulls and the problem still persists. Unfortunatlely, the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank so I am not able to check it. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,
Len

I will have the dealer drop the tank and heck the filter and fuel pump.
I thought maybe there could be a problem with the fuel pressure regulator?
check the fuel filter.
