I noticed that you replaced all of those parts but didn't list if you replaced the air filter. Don't be embarrassed if you over looked it. I've done that myself a couple times.
Try this. When you first try to turn your engine on, keep your foot on the gas pedal. The car should turn over but not start. (don't worry, its not supposed to). Take your foot off the gas and turn the ignition on again, but Don't touch the throttle this time. That should set your choke correctly. To summarise: Turn key with foot on Gas. Take foot off Gas, and turn key again.
Now you have me all sorts of confused....how could holding the gas pedal to floor make an engine crank...especially if the problem is a loose battery terminal? Never mind, don't respond to that....I'm not sure I will be able to handle the answer to that one!
I wish I could give you an instant fix, but I can't. Do you have spark? If so then its either your fuel pump or the CPS, crank position sensor. If no spark then it could be your coil.
check the distributor cap,, clean any corrosion that's in the cap,, clean off the rotor tip,, you may need a new set of plugs, and or wires , if these don't fix the issue,, get some carb cleaner and spray it into the carb or throttle body of your motor, and check the idle control sensor in your vehicle
Don't let the car run out of gas. Fill the tank and run until the tank is half empty. Again fill the tank.
By driving until you run out of gas, you are letting sediments/dirt collected in the bottom of the tank to enter the engine. Rather they will block the fuel filter. Then gas will not reach the engine.
Clean the gas filter and your car will run fine.
The same advice again. Don't drive until the tank becomes empty.
