Right brake light out; tail light works fine

My tail lights work fine but my right brake light doesn't light up at all. The bulb still seems to work given that it works when the tail lights are on, but not when I press the brake. So I'm thinking replacing the bulb wont cut it. Could it be a fuse or wire???

Most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

My right brake light doesnt work even though my tail lights do? hazards work fine along with turn signals, why would right light not work when everything else does?

Most of these bulbs have two filaments in side the glass, one for side light, and one for brake light.
Try another KNOWN GOOD bulb, or, swap left to right.

Worst case, its a loom fault or connection.

Tail light is not lighting up in my 2000 ford expedition

brake and turn are the same filament in the bulb. Try a new bulb. if that doesn't work your going to chase a short/ground on that wire back to the switch. get a wiring diagram to help.

If you have any extra fuses, try replacing the ones for the head lights and tail lights. Make sure the fuses you replace are the same color as the ones you replace them with, that way the voltages are the same. Another issue is that a flasher could be going out.

Headlight switch on makes tail light dim

there must be a short circuit which powers tail lights and brake lights. probably you have a dual filament bulbs which have both brake and tail light together. check for bulb, socket/or bulb housing and harness of that light.

It may sound silly, but check your brake light bulbs to see if they have been installed incorrectly. Brake light bulbs have two filaments, one for tail light, and a brighter one for brake lights. On some cars if the bulb is installed wrong, the brighter filament will stay on for tail lights. The only other thing I can think of is the wrong bulbs have been installed.

Right brake light does not work when running lights are on

sometimes a bad ground can cause this. when the other lights are not being used the brake light can backfeed through another bulb to get a ground.

I have taken my car to many shops to solve this problem. Long story short your tail light has a bad circut and entire lamp must be replaced. (Lamp cost approximate $130.00)
