Code 42 is the (asd) automatic shutdown driver, there is an open or a short in the relay circuit, and I don't have my manual to tell you where to look, have it checked.
Code 11 is no distributor signal during engine cranking.
Code 12 is battery power to computor disconnected in last 50 to a 100 cycles; memory standby power lost.
Code 55 is end of code output. These are what my code manual is showing. That shutdown driver should be checked. Hope this helps.

Have your crankshaft sensor checked. I had the same problem with my van. After trying to fix it myself with a new computer, distributor, fuel pump and filter, and oxygen sensor, I ended up taking it to my mechanic who owns the same van. He immediately told me it was the crankshaft sensor and he replaced it and it runs great now. It cost me around $85 for parts and labor.

93 Plymouth Voyager will not start, the Fuel Pump isn't whirring when the key is turned.

You should always hear the pump. Check the electrical connections after you check to fuse.

I've got a 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager Rallye SE. The heat for the back air vents turns on but never gets warm. It constantly stays cold (or whatever the outside temperature is) and on the flip slide if we...

your vehicle has two heater cores in it one front and one rear, there will be two heater hoses running back the van under the passenger side of van, after van is run and engine is at operating temp, find the hoses and see if they are both hot or if one is hot and one is not.those hoses are the temperature that will come out your rear heater.sometimes people get a leak in the rear and just cut and plug those hoses, and they do the same with the two metal lines that have freon in for the rear A/C.

1997 ply. van -van starts and runs as long as i hav my foot on accelerator --take foot off and car dies --??? allan

Check for dirty throttle body. Maybe IAC motor gummed up. If throttle body dirty, get some carb cleaner and a soft toothbrush and clean well. If this doesn't work, most likely an IAC (idle air control) motor.

Van starts, runs for a while, then dies, continues over and over

"Sounds like" your starter motor if it is cranking over all by it self! this would be a great area to start looking
