Tach has stopped working...at times moves but not correctly and speedo not working at times. Looking to see if this is an easy to fix at home in the garage or do I need a mechanic??

1st you will need to contact Infiniti, so they can quote you the option which is $700.00 something dollars when i checked. Just because its equipped there are still things that need to be added in order to make it function. As per the mechanic. Rip off.

at times the water in the headlight may not be related to it not working. Check the socket for the light. Check the wiring and the relay for loose connections or exposed wiring. Water may enter exposed wires causing it to fail. Check also the rubber seals. It may have corroded due to heat. See if you can have silicon seal any opening on the glass part of the headlamp.
