Hi, everyone. Please help me start my 2004 BMW 325xi... The car has been sitting for a couple months, and the battery went dead of course. Charged my battery, however the alarm goes on and the car wont start. the key fob opens and closes the doors, but doesn't stop the alarm. Thank You in advance!
Hi, if the car stay for long time the computer box lost memory. Now is not reading the key. You need to program your key again by BMW manufacturer. Also on bmw the alarm is connected to computer box too.

Did you check the alternator? if it is faulty the car will drain all the power from the battery until it goes flat

Insert the key into the door lock on the driver side and move it to the unlock position two times quickly. That should turn off the alarm.

If the passkey is messed up, there will be a light on the dash that says security, or have a picture of a car with a lock thru it. If there is no light when the key is turned forward, then its NOT a passkey problem.
