Took the car to local shop. not dealer. i live in yuma,az. no dealer here so thatr is out of question. mechanic can't find anything wrong. car will start only in the mornings but the car has to be in nuetral and in a certain position in order for it to start and it starts just fine. but thats it. so eveywhere i go i have to push strat it. i noticed gear box is screwed up. is there any way to bypass gearbox to start car? any answers will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

i would have it converted to a regular 5 speed not very hard to do and parts are reletivley inexpensive used, you will need a clutch pedal assembly and a gearbox out of a 96-01 saab 9-3 with all the clutch lines and then its a matter of changing out a few plugs to trick the comuter, there is a write up on this if you are interested will save you lots of headaches down the road -jeff

Assuming that this is an automatic, the NSS is a common problem. A common, cheap and easy ten minute bypass method has been developed to get around the problem or at the least to use to confirm the diagnosis of a failed switch.

having a problem with my 1995 saab 95 when having the muffler change all of a sudden the casket and the value are blowed, those this happen offen, or is it related to the muffler that this can happen, please help me with this? Hperez
