My headlights work but my park lights are not going and when I flick the high beam switch forwards It cuts out the lights altogether but when I pull (And hold) the high beams switch towards me the high beams work. Do you know why tis is happening?

The problem is the headlight switch itself - it's one of the most common failures on these cars. The part, brand-new, is about $158 from ECSTuning.com. Replacing it involves removing the airbag and steering wheel - not difficult but a little nerve-wracking due to the power of the airbag.
If this is something you want to tackle on your own, reply back here and I can give you a step-by-step on doing the work yourself. Or you can go to a shop/dealer and just have them do it. They'll probably charge you at least two hours' labor, even though it's a 40 minute job. Let me know what you would like to do.

BAD HEADLIGHT CONTROL SWITCH,REPLACE IT BEFORE IT MELTS YOUR DASH,THEY GET VERY HOT WHEN THEY FAIL

If you were flashing your high beams to get the car in front of you out of the way then maybe it is just karma.

had the same problem on my 92....check under the hood on the drivers side, towards the front, there is a "junction box" with all of the lighting wires connecting from the switches to the lights. My wires were all corroded inside,so I cleaned the ends and bought a new box from the local electronic supply store. The problem has not come back.
Cheers

Have you checked out the switch itself? Seems like the problem might be there.
If the lamp bulbs are sill intact, that's probably the most likely solution. There's a possibility you have a short somewhere in the switch relay that will allow the highlights to turn on but not the low beams.
