Need to see schematicof vacuumhose routing - 2004 Chrysler Sebring

air is getting into the system (repaired parts may not be sealed or mounted and sealed) or the air meter is damaged or not installed correctly.

Do them one at a time so you Don, t mix them up.

You need what is called an Evap Smoke Machine
only a repair shop would have,to find the leaks

Without Evap System knowledge & a Schematic
of the system components ,you can not personally do anything

check vacuumhoses

I am not sure what type of injection you have on the car... but a disconnected or faulty airflowmeter could be the problem. Check all you wiring the leads the sensors on your engine and/or disconnected or worn air/vacuumhoses.

You can get a carb./vacuumhose-setup printout at Toyota dealers...;)
