I hit a median while turning left. Why does my vehicle make a loud squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel or when I hit a bump?

Please get your car checked. You may have bent the Tie rods or the control arm and the Ball joint is making the Squeaking noise. Sway bar end links and Strut bearing will also make noise going over bumps.

When i drive over 50k(australia) my front drivers wheel sqeaks and it does it too occasionally when i break. been happening for over 2 months so i rule out that its dirt in the breaks. what could it be...

wow first post ever for country, im GOBSMACKED !!!!
wheel ?steering wheel or tire/wheel.?

hard to find, they are, all squeaks.
first is to see if possible to do, no moving (big safety issue, yes)
bounce the corners of car hard, by hand.?
jack car up spin tires. by hand,
lever them below off ground, to see of balls are shot.
inspections here, look at every inch of suspenson and parts.

Brakes, i hope nothing breaks the brakes.
The brakes all squeak this is normal try lightly pressing the brake pedal, gently while moving slow, squeaking now is 100% normal and harmless. (the pads act like Guitar strings)
Use pad glue to halt it, or ignore it like me....
the pads have wear markers, they have this device that makes noise when pads get too thin, (look at em)
bad wheel bearings.
brake backing plate bent.
caliper guide pins rusted.
and lots of other things bad or just ok , old and making noise, like
suspension "A" arm bushing rusty, or stable bar , same.

moving noise is real hard to find.

Squeaking noise right front ?

not sure what type vehicle we're talking about here, although you can lube up the rack and pinion or grease up your upper, if so equipped, and lower ball joints.

Only when i make a left hand turn i get a squeaking noise . i have replaced all the ball joints & track bar amd i still have the squeak. after making the turn & straighten out the wheel going...

Possible crack somewhere in the wheel itself. I'd be checking that wheel with a magnifying glass if had to. Put the spare on hat position first and see if squeak is gone.

I have a 2007 Silverado Classic 2500HD 4x4 Extended Cab 6.0 V8 I have 33" AT tires and Rancho RS5000 shocks (both are 18 months old) I recently replaced the front wheel hub assemblies, and religiously...

noises are a pig to diagnose from afar but i would get a can of spray silicon and spray one component at a time to find the noise...do it when dry and when you dont hear it guess what?.....

My car makes a humming noise when excellerating and is especcially noisey when turning steering wheel to the left. there is also a continous squeak. my husband put WD40 on the bolt on power steering box...

If WD-40 got on belt, and squeak went away for a while, it may just need a new belt. The humming noise sounds like a worn wheel bearing that should be checked and replaced if needed. If squeak goes away when you push slightly on brake pedal, it may be rotor on same side as wheel bearing making the noise due to slight shifting of rotor because of worn bearing. You can try swapping tires on front from one side to other to confirm it isn't tire problem as well. If noise shifts to other side, then it's a tire.

Squeaking sound from shock absorbers

ball joints won't squeak like that; they make a popping noise when they're bad. it is very common for shocks to get water in them and start squeaking, and it's usually a horrible screeching squeak. The only way to get rid of the squeak is to change out the shocks. Hope this helped.
