It is on the same button as the Trip Odometer. Cycle through until you see Tire Reset and hold the button down.

There is no reset button The system resets when the issue is fixed.
tire pressure could be still off or the sensor for a wheel is bad or missing. I think they are in the valve stem.
from shop manual:

Normal Operation If there is a fault in the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), such as damaged or missing sensor(s), damaged module or a communication issue within the vehicle, DTCs are set in the smart junction box (SJB), the TPMS warning indicator will flash for 70 seconds and then remain ON solid when the ignition key is turned to the ON position and the message center (if equipped) will display TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR FAULT. If the SJB does not get a response from all 4 TPMS sensors, the message center (if equipped) will display TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR FAULT.

    Possible Causes
  • TPMS sensor(s) missing
  • TPMS sensor(s) not trained to the vehicle
  • TPMS sensor(s) swapped due to wheel swap
  • TPMS sensor(s) damaged
  • Vehicle communication issue
  • SJB antenna damaged or not connected
  • SJB
-----------------------------------------
Pinpoint Test E: TPMS Indicator ON Continuously and Message Center (if equipped) Displays LOW TIRE PRESSURE
Normal Operation The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) monitors the air pressure of all 4 road tires. The wheel-mounted tire pressure sensors transmit via radio frequency signals, to the smart junction box (SJB). TPMS functionality is integral to the SJB. These transmissions are sent approximately every 60 seconds when the vehicle speed exceeds 32 km/h (20 mph). The TPMS function (integral to the SJB) compares each tire pressure sensor transmission against a low-pressure limit. If it has been determined that the tire pressure has fallen below this limit, the SJB communicates this on the vehicle communication bus to the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster then illuminates the TPMS indicator and displays the appropriate message(s) in the message center (if equipped).
    Possible Causes
  • Low air pressure in tire(s)
  • Tire pressure sensor(s)

The words tire reset keep on popping up on my dashboard. What does that mean, and how do I get rid of it? 2004 Ford Freestar.

With and without "Mesage Center" respectively (pretty sure)

With the engine on...

Push "Setup" button, until your driver display says something like "Press Reset for system check".

Then push Reset. The system check will start, rotating through a series of checks.

About the fifth or sixth check will be the tire pressure. The system will sound the tone (same one that starts w/the light) and It'll say something like "Check Tires Pressure" on that moment press and hold for 3 or 4 seconds Reset. When you release the Reset button It'll show "Hold Reset if tires are OK". While that's up, hold the Reset button. After 3 or 4 seconds, the tire warning light will blink 2 or 3 times and then will stop .You need to be ready for it, because you don't get very long to release.

How to reset the low tire pressure warning if the vehicle does not have the "Message Center"

Turn the ignition to the ON position,
depress and Trip/odometer button (located in the instrument cluster) until "TIRE RESET" or "CHECK TIRE AND RESET" is displayed in the odometer display window.
Once "TIRE RESET" or "CHECK TIRE AND RESET" is displayed, press and hold the button for three seconds.
The low tire warning indicator light will flash three times as the low tire warning system begins to initialize.

This information is in the Owners Manual

Hope it helps

Reset tire th

It's also a good idea to reset the tire pressure sensors when you air up the tires. If I remember correctly, you click the odometer/trip meter switch until it flashes TIRE RESET (or something similar) then press the button and hold it for a few seconds. That way it sets itself to the pressure in the tires at the moment, and if it notices a pressure drop it puts up a warning.
