You will need to have a machine shop press the joint together for you. They shouldn't charge more than about $20.

How to change a Xantia bottom ball joint

Depressurize the hydraulic system. Jack the front and put on jack stands (both left and right side). Remove wheels. Slacken and unscrew the ball joint nut partially. Release ball joint from knuckle using a proper separation tool. Once dislodged, remove ball joint nut and pull out strut/knuckle away from lower arm. You may need to push down the arm with a lever. Remove dust cover from the ball joint. The ball joint can be removed by unscrewing it using a tool that locks into the notches on the sides of the ball joint. Install new one by screwing in the ball joint back into the knuckle.Tighten well.

Ball joint is about to fall off replace lower ball joint right side 2000 accent

OK< ball joints, they are sometimes bolted on, I hope yours is, you have to get in there to see, But you will also need the parts first, when you buy the ball joint, you will know what you got, either welded to the arm or bolted, then you can take off the arm or the ball joint. Either way, it should be no problem getting the thing off, get the car up, wheel off, don't get your legs under there, get dirty, and you might need another bottle jack to lift up the arm to get the bolts on. Check it out. Hope this helps.

Right lower ball joint. Torn loose from lower control arm. Ran into a sinkhole in road, wrecker driver lives next door, and saved me a few bucks on towing thank goodness. Arm is OEM. Wrecker driver...

If you torn the ball joint out, you very well could have more damage.
If you plan on doing the work yourself, I would put the car up on stands, and take the front wheel off, and do a through examination of the whole assembly.
Once you have a complete assesement of all of the damage you can go to your local parts house and get the parts.
If you have to replace the lower arm, you will need probably need some specialized tools (like a spring compressor).
After you're done changing parts, you will need to get a front end alignment.
