Dash light not working

is it a factory radio ? if so its either got a amp in the dash or the radio itself i probably junk most car manufactures use cheap radios ive never cared for factory stereos . i would suggest getting a new radio after market of course cd player or whatever your prefence and install it yourself shouldnt cost you anymore than 60 dollars an 1 hour of your time

lost connection behind the dash work the connectoer around a bit see if it works then check ground wires..

I'm guessing you're talking about the dash light aound the radio. The dash lights around the radio share the same fuse with all the other lights that come on when you turn the parking light on. If the other light are working then your fuses are fine. What i think might have happen was when you took the dash cover off, the bulbs behind it might had burn out. You might want to try new bulbs.

Sounds like you wired the cd player to the tail light fuse and the power wire touched ground. Go to the fuse panel inside the car and check the fuses. The tail lamp one and possibly also the dash light fuses will be blown, replace them after disconnecting the cd player power wires and taping off where they were connected. If you have the factory harness for the original radio still in the dash you can get a wiring harness to directly plug into it from walmart. If you don't have the original harness , the easiest way to power the cd is to tap the cigarette lighter wire.

you need to go back to who ever did the job,unfortunately it sounds like they cut wires instead of using a wire adapter

You might need a new cluster .... or it is p[ossible you installed a new stero in the vehichle and one of the wires that were not used from the harness to connect to the cd player may not have been wrapped and are causing a ground.

Check your Ignition 1 & ignition 3 fuses in the inside fuse block,also check the body fuse 10amp in the inside fuse block.Keyless entry should take back off once you found the blown fuse.hope this helps

Lighting of the lcd ? Could be an internal radio component. Check the web - seems to be fairly common with the radio ( made by Panasonic) where there is a small resistor that gets fried and results in the loss of the lighting . The CD changer also has problems.. I should know.. It happened to my 03 Accord also.. You can get a remanufactured unit on ebay for < $100 . Also, there are online tutorials on how to remove the radio. Good luck

You wll need a stereo installation adapter kit. This will change the dash opening to the size you need, oftentimes by replacing an entire dash panel for a factory look.

Please do not mistake this as an insult but I must ask... Check dash dimmer switch settings (on headlamp switch) if set is ok. Next would probably be a bad ground wire to instrument cluster and radio lamp circut
