My 2007 ford focus rear door also will not lock manually or with the remote. Report this issue on Safercar.govhttps://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/ This is a safety issue because our kids can just open the rear door because you have no ability to lock the door and/or use the child safety lock feature. This happened to my 2007 Focus and dealer asked for $500. Please report all car issues to the people who force the Auto companies we just bailed out to fix our cars. You are leaving the public a risk. If your kid opens the door moving down the highway and falls out of the car because of this issue Ford is going to pay big time lawsuits on this one. It is not a problem in design, it is broken. Reporting it to the government is like reporting yourself if a railing in your house stairs breaks and you are too lazy to fix it so your kid can get his/her head stuck in there...its a YOU problem, not a government problem

Where is the relay for the door locks on a 2007 ford focus

Doesn't have any relay's for the door locks . The (GEM) generic electronic module controls the door locks . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

The Door Lock Function When a door lock control switch is moved into the lock position or a door lock cylinder is rotated to the lock position, a ground is provided to the lock circuit input to the generic electronic module (GEM). The GEM then provides 12 volts to one side of the door lock actuators contained in the door latch assembly and simultaneously grounds the other side of the door lock actuators. This completes the door lock actuator circuit, causing the door lock actuators to rotate a cam assembly, which then locks the doors.
The Door Unlock Function When a door lock control switch is moved into the unlock position, the door lock switch grounds the unlock circuit input to the GEM. The GEM then provides 12 volts to the opposite side (relative to locking the door) of the door lock actuator(s) contained in the door latch assembly and simultaneously grounds the other side of the door lock actuator(s). This completes the door lock actuator circuit, causing the door lock actuator(s) to rotate a cam assembly in the opposite direction, which then unlocks the door(s).

Generic Electronic Module (GEM) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index DTC Description Source Action B1300 Power Door Lock Circuit Failure GEM Go To Pinpoint Test D . B1309 Power Door Lock Circuit Short to Ground GEM Go To Pinpoint Test D . B1310 Power Door Unlock Circuit Failure GEM Go To Pinpoint Test D . B1341 Power Door Unlock Circuit Short to Ground GEM Go To Pinpoint Test D .
Have a qualified technican diagnose the problem .

Ford focus lock broken?

This sounds like a bad lock actuator, this is the part that locks the door with the power locks button or the remote. you will need to remove the rear door panel and dissconnect the actuator, this way you will be able to lock it with the key but the power lock will not work on the door,

Drivers side rear door lock inoperative

You need to replace the electric solenoid/actuator for the door lock. The door panel pulls off very easily.
