Hi. my 1999 chevy tracker 4wd manual blows the turn sig. fuse each time i shift in reverse. ive replaced all bulbs(int./ext.), the rear backup switch under the shifter, and replaced all fuses under the hood and under the str. column. then using a test light all bulbs were getting power. next i tried a paper clip in the fuse slot and the lights worked in reverse and turn sig. for a short time then would just not work again until i pulled it out and put it back in. The fuse only blows when shifting to reverse, the turn signals work until you shift in R, then neither will work until new fuse is placed. im going crazy trying to fix this. PLEASE help me out here!!
Am I correct, the turn signal fuse is blowing when you put the manual shifter in reverse?
Let me know.
Regards
