Is your vehicle equipped with a cabin filter? Cabin filters are generally found in one of two locations: under the hood, or under the dash board. some models do not have one.
If you have an SXT model, it probably does not have a cabin filter. To get to the potential location, empty the lower glove box. Push each side of glove box inward to allow the tab on each side to clear the dash bottom cowling. Each tab looks like a Shrek ear. When the glove box drops down and you don't see a flat plate as per the drawing on the previous post, but you do see what looks like the black interior of a salad spinner and above that a full width black plastic piece that curves to the front of the vehicle, there is no place for the air cabin filter.
A cabin filter on a Dodge Caravan would not be located under the hood below where the wiper blades are!
The air filter for the cabin is located inside the van, look under the glove box door there should be a plastic holder that slides to the rearward of the van pull this back and a flat plastic door will come off, the door is two parts.
Some base vans do not have this filter if you look at the bottom of this and see a 1/2 long plastic stud sticking out of the bottom there is no filter in this.
