SOURCE: Engine turning over but no start...
Is it getting spark? remove one spark plug wire and put a spark plug in it, hold the body of the plug against an unpainted metal part of the engine or body with an insulated tool (like a plastic handled screwdriver) and get someone to wind the engine over. You should see spark at the plug. If not, check to see if the igniter module is switching the coil correctly (might want to search on the net for this procedure, too hard to explain here). Probly best to just replace the igniter module anyway with the age of the vehicle.

Yes, we were told by our Service Manager that they are having issues with the 2.5 engine. But, don't know what the issue is. We were told to use 91 Octane fuel, purchase gas from Top Tier gas retailers and park the car in the garage (keep the car warm). The car should be able to run on the recommened low grade gas (stated in the owners manual). I have the Technical Bulletin from VW. It basicaly states us consumer are getting contaminated gas and we need to purchase gas at Top Tier retailer. Shame on VW for blaming the consumer on their engine issues. VW could be the new cover up?

Hello did you checked the security system for your car Because the new cars have anti-thief system check it with your car company. i am sure it might help. Please rate my comment thanks
There is a oil level switch in the bottom of the oil tank, if your tank has oil in it then either your switch came unplugged or it's just faulty.. And the power shut down is a safety feature in case u actually do loose oil..
