Hello,
i am thinking of buying toyota previa 1991.
because i don't have knowledge of used car, i'll check the oil to decide the state of car.
1. please let me kow about the all change of color when i look in the engine room.
for example,
motor oil: light yellow - brown -black.
transmission oil: ?
2. and when i see the bottom of the car, the engine covered with black oil. is it normal for 300,000km previa or is it serious problem?
The oil should be black, brown or gold(new) with no other colors in it. shouldnt be milky or streaky. the trans fluid should be light red or semi light red.as for the engine being oily its hard to discern unless you rinse it off to metal and drive it. if you mean the oil pan has black oil on it then it may be ok.

Did you prime the new pump with some engine oil? Another trick is to use some light grease to coat the pump gears so they will seal against themselves. If you primed the pump and are sure the pump is working, you may have worn out engine bearings or some internal oil leak that is keeping the oil from getting pressure.
the operators guide covers this on all cars made.

The Toyota Previa is a popular car that holds its value well. It is a rare "mid-engine" car which presents some unique problems when doing basic maintenance like checking the oil. Go here for step buy step instructions:
if you mean "code reader plug" (sorry not much of a car guy, just know what MY '91 has taught me) is under the drivers seat. there is a lever to lean the seat (whole seat, not just back) back. this is where you add oil, check oil and trans fluid. the code reader plug is the grey box thingy nearest the door.
Hope that helped
