NEED DIAGRAM FOR LOCATION OF SPEED SENSORS THIS MODEL DOES NOT HAVE A SPEEDOMETER CABLE LIKE IT SHOWS IN MANUAL. SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER QUIT WORKING SPEEDOMETER STARTED BOUNCING FROM ZERO TO CURRENT SPEED OR WOULDNT WORK THEN STARTED WHILE DRIVING A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER SPEEDOMETER QUIT WORKING THE ODOMETER QUIT HAVE BEEN TOLD TO REPLACE INDASH CLUSTER AND SENSOR AND CABLE BUT THIS TRUCK HAS NO CABLE CANT FIND DIAGRAMS FOR ONE WITH NO CABLE

It sounds like the cluster is gone bad if everything is not working. Usually, if just the speedometer isn't working then it's the speed sensor on the transmission that has gone bad. But I think you have a cluster that has just died. Check on EBAY for a used cluster and ask them to roll the mileage to what is on your vehicle now.

neoprene gear in transmission were the speedometer cable goes into transmission should not have a dished appearance if you pulll it out of transmission look at it from the side it should appear flat from the start of the gear to end of gear no dish down in center

check speedo cable for tightness at both ends,1 on trans 1 back of dash.if tight replace the cable,they can bind or strstch in liner causing speedo bounce.

You may need another speedometer. The speed sensor sends a signal to both the speedo and the odometer. So if the sensor fails, both meters would stop working.
The speedo gets power from the same circuit as the warning lights.
