Misfiring could be a number of things, but since the V6 has the coil right over the plugs it narrows it down a bit. I would first replacing the spark plugs (and MAKE SURE you gap them correctly). Use platinum. It will be a super pain in the **** to get to because you have to remove the entire intake manifold (the top part of the engine). That's a good place to start.

Put a can of seafoam in your gas tank too. That should clean out your fuel system. You can pick that up at most any autoparts store. I think walmart might have it too.

2000 lincoln ls misfire

In my experience the most common reasons for a misfire diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for a specific cylinder like P0306 which I am guessing is the DTC you recieved without have any other DTC's like a P0300 (random multiple misfire) is either the coil or the injector. There is always the chance you have a faulty connector at either the injector or the coil. It kind of hard to help you completely as I need to ask you a few questions in order to go further. Here are the first set of questions. After you clear the code, does it pretty much come right back ? I know the spark plugs are new but have you looked at the spark plug in cylinder number 6 ? Is it wet or black due to fuel ? I understand you are able to pull DTC's but are you able to look at any freeze frame data with the scanner you are using ? You can reply/comment here or email me directly at [email protected] and maybe we can work through this without having to replace a bunch of parts that don't need replacing. One thing you may want to try which can be a little bit of a pain with the injector but if it is a hard code or a code that comes back quickly after clearing the DTC but you may want to swap the injector (since you already replaced the coil) with an injector from another cylinder. If you recieve a new DTC for a misfire in the cylinder you put the injector that was originally in the number 6 position then more than liklely it's the injector that's faulty. Injectors can get dirty and kind of stick open and drip fuel when it should be off/closed. This will also cause a wet or black spark plug in that cylinder. Yes vacuum leaks and fuel pressure can cause this by the way but in most cases you will also get a P0300 as well.

Misfire in cylinder 6. chaned coils an spark plugs still come up as misfire in cylinder 6. CHANGED ignition coil still comes up. What should i do next?

Plugs get changed at 70,000 miles
I would suggest that you use the OEM
Plugs, they are made by NGK and are special
on my 2004 LS,I don't know about yours.

Clean the MAF Sensor with the CRC Product
for that

Change the 2 front O2 Sensors at 100,000 miles

Check fuel pressure at the fuel rail on engine

The coil you replaced on #6 ,even though you
have a PO306 Code, doesn't mean that was the
bad one. It is a COP Coil or Ford thing, you will
learn as you get involved with them

In some cases, you buy 1 new coil and walk it
from one cylinder to the next.

On single coil codes, you may get lucky,on multiple
codes or a really bad coil you won't

Your not using any fancy test equipment and
unfortunately a lot of repair shops have it and
don't know how to use it,including dealers

V6 or V8 ?

Trouble codes for saturn ls2 car is showing the following trouble codes. po300, po306, po451 p2bo3 and c112b

P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected

P0451 EVAP Pressure Sensor Range/Performance

I have no idea what those last two are. Typo, maybe?

Your first two codes could be caused by old spark plugs and/or leaking plug wires.

Your EVAP code could be a bad fuel tank pressure sensor or a malfunctioning EVAP system. With that code, if you remove your fuel cap and get a whoosing sound, then it is an issue with your EVAP system not properly venting the tank. If you don't get that sound, then the tank pressure sensor is bad.
