O2 sensor schematics

Not to worry friend, when my car go sick i avoided going to mechanic looking for DIY_Repair when I found this website https://big-manuals.com/ and this book helped me repair it within an hour, all by myself!!!
From wiring diagrams, schematic illustrations, sp ark plugs info, parts info, chassis number, valve time settings, step wise instructions, torque specs, error/fault codes, engine info, to every single minute parts, you get everything in there you can't imagine how detailed it is

with out the codes cant tell which o2 sensor is causing the issue , before you change any sensors i'd recommend using a fuel addative , get one that cover the catalytic convertor as well as fuel and engine parts , give it a long run at a good speed to get the engine to a high operating temperature as most o2 sensor issues are because the tip is coated in carbon etc and cant detect the exhaust gases, another thing to check before replacing o2 sensors is the air intake pipe work as a split , tear etc in the air intake side will give a false reading on the exhaust side as the intake readings are affected by the split , hope this helps

If the engine is failing that fast, it is because something is getting too hot, then it allows the engine to run once it cools off. I believe you might have been on the right track with the ignition coil, and would be looking at the spark plugs, myself. Let us know if you need anything else!

ask a local mechanic recomended by a friend or relative and let a mechanic have a look ,iam surprissed the dealer couldnt get it to go though

What is your Trouble code? O2 sensors just don't go bad, unless you are buying cheap parts. Need to find out why its idling rough. if there are no codes have a repair shop review the scan data and see why its running rough.

What size engine is in this Grand Cherokee? You should be able to get a 13/16 wrench on the hex and remove it. If clearance is an issue, then an O2 sensor socket that is available at most auto stores will be required. I'll need an engine size for an exact location of this O2.

this is going to be on the left side of the exhaust second sensor back or if you only have two sensors it will be just after the cat. all you need is a 7/8 wrench. to change it unless you have the o2 sensor socket.

if its a 4 cylinder it will the 02 sensor closest or if not in the exhaust manifold

the printout from Auto zone tells you that there is a probelm with fuel mixture control, this doesn't always mean the O2 sensors are defective, intake leaks and iother factors can give O2 codes, give me the code you have and i will let you know the most likely problem.

is this a 4 or 6 cylinder?
if a 4 cylinder it will only have 2 o2 sensors
V6 will have 4 o2 senors which the sensor will be the right side of the engine first sensor.
1st sensor on exhaust, I recommend if you change one change all, as this will make the computer when it rechecks the system you have all clean/fast responding sensors.

if you have a slow response it means the sensor is dirty and not reading well, which is usually caused by minor misfires that the engine computer dismisses, so a tune up would be recommended too.
