Radio connection.. hi there!! i want to connect a 2004 radio in my 2001 ford expedition.the radio harness i have will fit in the car's connection but it won't fit behind the 2004 radio where can i get this harness or how can i connect this 2004 radio in this 2001 ford expedition? thanks....... note:both radios are from the ford expedition model!

Quit typing in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and RUDE. It is also harder to read!

This seldom works, and the reason is because the radio system and steering wheel controls are monitored and operated by the Body Control Module on the 5 volt Can Bus System. When you connect your new Android box, the computer won't have a clue what is going on! Be prepared for a whole heap of trouble.

Parts stores sell an inexpensive little piece called a quick connect fitting tool. It slips inside the quick connect fitting and releases it so you can pull it apart. If you tell them at the store it is for a heater hose fitting for Expeditions, they should have the right sized one in stock. The quick connect fittings have many sizes and applications.

sounds like a faulty instrument cluster

At most stores that sell radios ( even Wal-Mart ) sell and installation kit for your car ( yes it'll fit alot of other different cars, You also need a wiring harness adaper for your car too as this gets all the wires connected correctly and comes with directions.

Your vehicle does use R134a. You need a quick connect hose that does only fit the low side fitting. The high side fitting is larger, you can not attach it to the wrong one, it will not fit.

check fuses, are you checking red wire with key on
