I need serpentine belt routing for 1999 Jaguar XK8

I changed my serpentine belt on my 1999 Jaguar XK8 but must have the wrong routing because the check engine light is on and it runs rough. Anyone have the diagram?

    what is the wheel with the G called guide pulley...but what does that translates to in american drive belt idler pulley...? mine fell apart and I need to know the name to replace it ...thanks in advance...

This solution solved my diagram routing problem. My wife has a 98 xj8 4.0 and the diagram that I previously used from the internet for this car had too many pulleys, wheels (i.e. 10). I decided to look at the 99 xk8 to see if the routing diagrams were clearer or different than my wife's 98 xj8. I found this 99 xk8 to be the exact routing diagram for my wife's jaguar. I had the right amount of pulleys, wheels, whatever and they were all in the same position on her car. Now I have the right serpentine belt from autozone, not the dealorship. The dealorship wants $103 and autozone wanted $42.00. Just some information for those out there that are having the same problem my wife had in finding the right routing diagram.

I did the best i could, Dayco is the only belt company that posts these diagrams, you can however get the diagram from the dealer parts books if u can't use the Dayco diagram. Sorry i couldn't be of more help with this.

How do i change the serpentine belt on my 1999 chevy tracker
First, keep this diagram around as you will need it to route the serpentine belt when you reinstall it. There may also be a diagram under the hood by the radiator.

Screeching from engine when starting jaguar xk8 4ltr
If this engine has a serpentine belt, then chances are there is a bearing going out in the A/C compressor, idler tensioner, alternator, or other rotating item driven by the belt in the engine compartment.

If the belts are regular V belts, then add them to the list, including that they may be loose as well.

Identifying and Replacing Serpentine Belt
Nope, it does sound like the serpentine belt broke.
All you need is a long 15mm wrench to replace it.
The belt from Jaguar is about $90.
It takes about 5 minutes to replace the belt.

Need to install radio antenna on 1999 jaguar xk8
on the base of the antenna mast is a chrome nut (14mm?) unsrew that, then turn radio on , it will eject the guide cable. then insert the new cable, turn radio off and wait like 15sec then the motor will take in the new cable then put the chrome nut back on> thats it
