Question about 2002 Lincoln LS
My Lincoln LS air conditioner does not work, never has since purchased, completely dead on dash panel, in looking at the fuses, every fuse is there except Relay 1 in the passenger compartment (nothing there) and the manual says nothing about Relay 1.....could this be the air conditioning fuse that is missing......its a big one.

Does the heater work ? blower motor pushes air out of the vent's ? A/C compressor doesn't engage ? I'm try to figure out what you have going on there . completely dead on dash panel ? Two fuse in the central junction box F2.14 10 amp an F2.20 10 amp these power the climate control panel . Relay one has nothing to do with it . If the fuse's are good you need a new control panel .

SOURCE: 2004 Lincoln LS A/C Valve
In order to charge, you must locate the low pressure valve to install the refrigerant. The low pressure valve is between the compressor and the evaporator. Do not charge on the High Pressure side, The high pressure valve is between the compressor and the condenser. To locate the low pressure valve, follow the line that comes from the compressor and routes toward the firewall. The valve will be somewhere on that line. Do not overcharge. The amount of pressure that is needed on the low pressure side will depend on the ambient outside temperature.
