Cig lighter will not work on 03 expedetion - 2003 Ford Expedition

Look at the wires coming into the radio, check for an inline fuse.

you mean the power port/cig lighter? should be fuse F2.47 in the fuse box under the dash. 20 amp mini fuse

theres a wire on back of cig lighter that comes loose. make sure cig lighter is screwed together snug

Fuse no.1(20amp) in the under dash fuse panel is for lighter.
Fuse no.9(20 amp) in the under hood fuse panel is for the power point.

fuse for cig lighter also works radio. if not just replace lighter

you probably didnt change the right fuse and had another one blown at the same time you also could have a primary fuse under the hood that blew. once fixed dont use pump again. not same amps drawn

remove the ashtray and reach behind the cig lighter you should feel a nut you take the nut loose and the cig lighter comes right out just unplug the wires and plug them on to the new one. and if you get your new cig lighter first you will get the idea of what i am talking about the nut

you may have burned out the lighter unit.check the wires for melting also!

try replacing the fuse to the cig lighter. that is where the data link gets power from that cig fuse. good luck
