Stuck spark plug wires

Ok then.

You missed something or you blew out a fuse.

the distributor cap should be numbered

Spray some wd-40 or other lubricant in the hole where the wire was in. Use long nose pliers and dry to turn the boot. once it turns it will come out.

If you look at the motor you will see some wires running down to the side of the motor or on the top side of the motor. There should be six or eight (six or eight cylinder, one wire for each cylinder), these are the sparkplug wires going to the sparkplug. There is a black rubber boot covering the spark plugs so you can't see the plugs but if you pull the cover back with your finger you can see the spark plugs. Don't do this when the motor is hot or running. The black rubber boot keeps water and dirt off the spark plug.

THE PLUGS AND DISTRIBUTOR ARE UNDER THE HOOD. IF SOMEONE TOLD YOU THAT THEY ARE UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT THEN THEY WERE JUST KIDDING IM SURE. ON TOP OF THE ENGINE IS THE DISTRIBUTOR AND THE SPARK PLUGS ARE AT THE ENDS OF THE WIRES THAT COME FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR. HOPE THIS HELPS, LET ME KNOW. Make sure the vehicle has had a tune up, Spark plugs and wires. Check PCV valve. ETC. ALso may want to run diags on it with OBD code reader to see if it is pulling codes that just arent' showing on CEL(Check engine light)

The best thing to do is to purchase a Haynes manual for the Toyota Previa. But to access the spark plug wires and spark plugs you will need to remove the passenger front seat. This requires taking out four bolts on the four corners of the seat. After the seat is removed you need to remove the outside seat support and the jack and jack handle that is located under the seat. Next remove the bolt from the seat belt/shoulder harness. Romove the screws from the side of the carpet keeper strip along the bottom of the door. carefully, using a flat blade screwdriver, pry the plastic carpet strip up carefully disengaging it from the rear strip. Unhook the carpet from the edge of the doorway. Pull the carpet back enough to expose the bolts holding the cover over the engine. Remove all the bolts holding the cover over the engine. This will expose the engine head. remove the three bots holding the black plastic cover over the spark plug wires. This wires can be removed allowing access to the plugs. Be aware these engines use only platinum tipped spark plugs. Good Luck

Please crank the engine again, and then remove all 4 spark plugs. Examine them & repost exactly what you see on the plugs.

I had a power problem, when cold idled just fine,when warm it would miss at idle, spudder on acceleration and sound just fine at higher rpm. found number three spark plug wire had burned through lower boot. Spark was firing to head at low idle. same wire burn twice with about 40000 mile between.
