I have a 2007 Audi A3 5 door hatchback Special but no handbook was included when I bought the car. My problem is that I do not know what the tyre pressure should be for this car and having had the car for a few weeks would be most grateful if you could let me know please. Thank you in anticipation. Gillian Mason

Sadly when I went to check the driver's door there was no tyre pressure listed on it. Nor on any of the other doors. Can anybody else help please?

Telephoned Audi Main Dealers around Manchester – Macclesfield very helpful, others either disconnected or not answering. Manual costs £21.85 (inc. VAT) + postage .... Too big to actually download and print, I suspect!

It's a Tyres Monitoring Pressure (TMP) system ECU (Electronic Control Unit) temporary faulty. Run for few miles above 30 mph, and all the temporary faults of Tyres Monitoring Pressure (TMP) system ECU will dissappear themselves. Also you can access & erase the TMP system ECU for all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) memored, if you will connect a VW / Audi diagnostic equipment to the data link connector of the car.

some markets have passenger compartment locking, when you start the cars engine the car will lock,(timed delay) some have a movement sensor which locks the car when in motion,vw/audi sell worldwide, so you have something that is in the handbook for the english speaking world.but not perhaps for where you are.hence your dealer may not know anything about/or be in your handbook.cars in germany lock with movement sensor/unlock in accident situation.
