Only Ford products use a cut off switch, called an inertia switch. If your fuel pump is not getting power, the pump relay is the first place to start testing.

Oh, by the way there is an inertia fuel cut off switch that might have also popped up thereby cutting off all fuel to the engine. These hidden switches have been installed in vehicles since Pintos were blowing up in the 80's. Easiest fix in the world, go to owners manual, find section on "Fuel Cutoff Switch", locate switch (usually in the passenger side kick panel or the right rear quarter panel) and push the button down. Start vehicle, drive away happy.
ther isd a fuel pump fuseand fuel pump relay. also and I am not sure where it is located, but all vehicles with electric fuel pumps have a switch that is suposed to cut off the fuel pump if the vehicle get into an accident. this switch on many cars is located on the pasanger side inside car in the kick panel or around the heater box. not sure of location on the astro van. these switches sometimes pop off for no reason or hitting some rough roads etc. Gm also has several service bulitens out for defective harnesses and the problem might be the connector to the fuel pump. some ideas. good luck
Chk. all fuses, there is a fuse for injectors, If no spark at plugs chk ignition fuse and switch, and chk. fuse for e.c.m. Can't help with diagram. Parts dept. chevy dealer will print you one out.
