Make sure proper fluid and level is rite--evrything is computer based on todays trans--may need a download of new programs-its like an upgrade--------get a data stream run on entire car--go to an independent shop that has factory gear--dealers stuf is out of date-they only hav software for recent models

SOURCE: 2005 bmw 545i check engine

You need to have an OBII scan (fault scan) done by a dealer or a specialty shop. It'll pull up faults and point you at what needs to be addressed. Sometimes it's a loose connector or moisture intrusion. Other times it's a simple part replacement or "timed maintenance" IE: O2 sensors etc.. It's your onboard computer pre warning you of future possible problems.

SOURCE: I cannot start BMW 545i normally.

Your car battery is dead. Or the cable from the battery to the 12V terminal has a bad connection.

SOURCE: battery location on a 2005 BMW 545i?

The battery location for a 2005 BMW 545i is in the trunk. Open your trunk, and on the right side of the car (passenger), look for two black plastic screws (flathead fit) along the paneling. Use a flathead (from the tool kit amongst the trunk lid), or a paper-clip to turn both of these plastic screws 90 degrees, you should be able to pull these out with your fingers afterwards. The plastic screws hold in the protective paneling, you'll have to to lift up trunk-liner (covers your spare tire), then pull the paneling outwards; underneath, you'll find the battery and terminals.

2005 BMW 545i engine Code P0962 "Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Control Circuit Low"

The common joke acronym for "BMW" is Break My Wallet. BMWs are very nice cars but they are somewhat complex and quite expensive to maintain.

Take the car to an auto parts store such as Autozone. They have an OBDII code reader that can reset (clear) the error code. If the code does not come back on, then you're good to go, However, if it does come back on then the fix is have it serviced.

I would take it in to the dealer and ask them for an estimate of costs and if you think it's too much then perhaps find an independent shop to do the work (rather than the dealership).

Good luck!!

Bmw 545i

Apparently there's an emissions-related malfunction. I suggest doing as it says and have your vehicle checked by your BMW center as soon as possible.

How would a crack block happen on my bmw 545i 2005.with only 64000 mi .

A cracked block can happen on a vehicle with 100 miles. Its all about what happened to the motor. The only way to crack a block is over heating and mechanical breakdown inside the engine.
