2005 Honda Odyssey Touring won't start. Good battery. Lights and power windows all work.

Could it have to do with the remote start that we had installed on it. My wife used the original key to unlock the doors. We were told to only use the original key for the power sliding doors.

SOURCE: Can not open any door using the key or remote control.

Hmm, probably a dead battery. The problem with those locks is that they are electrically actuated, not mechanically unlocked. Thats why the key turns easily. If you turn and hold it to the unlock position, and the battery is okay, the windows will roll down. If they dont, then its the batt. Call a mechanic.

SOURCE: Sliding power doors will not open

Just had the same problem with my '05 van. I put the Master Switch in the off position. I pulled fuse #7 on the driver side sub panel, located just above the engine hood release. I then disconnected the neg. terminal on the battery. I manually opened the pass. side slider and closed it.

I reconnected the battery and replaced fuse #7. I put the master door switch in the on position. I activated the auto door switch, and it worked.

SOURCE: My remote for my honda odyssey won't work, I

The following URL will take you to an on-line manual for your Odyssey. You will need Adobe Reader (free from Adobe) to read it, and you can't save it except in sections, but you could print out whatever info you need. The remote is covered on page 81 (go there from the index). You might check to see if you got the polarity right on the battery change, then it might become a matter or replacing the remote.

SOURCE: 2005 Honda Odyssey EX power sliding door latching issue

I had the exact same issue with my 2005 Odyssey EX. Sliding door closes completely then "relaxes" after a few second and the door open indicator light goes on. You cannot lock the van in that situation. The Honday dealership told me today that the issue is with the sliding door latch mechanism. Aprox. $550 job.

My 2006 honda odyssey touring won't start again green key comes on goes off I get 1 snap then nothing. Honda dealer found nothing battery fine

I had this problem... The Starter itself had a short circuit (not the solenoid. It it were the solenoid, you would not get the "snap" you mentioned.). To get to the starter I had to take out the battery and the battery platform. It seems like a lot of work, but un the end it was easier than expected. I did the job in the parking lot of a Home Depot.

2004 Honda Odyssey won't start or try to turn

You tried it in neutral but did you take it out of park and force it back into park? Just a suggestion since sometimes the switch that tells it that it is in park needs a bit of a nudge sometimes.

2009 honda odyssey touring noise and smoke from the front wall of the engine compartment also killing battery's charge.

GO TO A TRUSTED SHOP BEFORE THE VEHICLE CATCHES ON FIRE!!! On that note it is a 2009, are you out of your warranty period? Have a shop check for a tsb or technical service bulletin or a recall. On that note, you have provided a very vague explanation and it could be anything from simple to dangerous.

Our 2007 odyssey the battery died after only one year. Bought new one now four days later car won't start again. We left no lights on or radio, not even the dvd player. What's wrong with this...

Battery might have died cause the altinator is not charging 14+V Please charge the battery, donot boost the dead battery. After charging the battery check the altinator output.
