How do i get to my battery to change it out with a new one

You have a power drain in the system, Either take it to the dealer or trusted mechanic, have them put a breakout box on your system to find the drain, or you can put a DVM on your battery and start pulling your fuses one by one until you find the fuse that's causing the drain, then you can trace that circuit to find out why you have the problem.
Also, before doing all that, you can sit in your car at nighttime doors closed and see if an accessory is staying on, I myself recently did this because of battery drain and found my glove box light was staying on, even though the door was closed, the hot Florida sun warped the door just enough so that it wouldn't push the switch all the way to shut it off.

If you are saying that no lights (headlamps, dash, tail) are working and car doesn't crank over, bad battery connections or blown fusible links are most likely issue.

Run a wire from the battery to the ignition switch terminal on the coil . make sure you have the right terminal or damage will happen to the contacts . you may have to engage the starter by hand.remove the jumper cable to stop engine.

Its possible, sometimes the new vehicles work with anti-theft systems; confirm with your owners manual battery procedure or ask your dealer.

the radio locked you out. do you know the code? if not take it to honda they might even have a master code they csn give you over the phone. have serial number ready to verify.

the easiest way might be to use a set of jump start leads & connect them to the new battery, then to the battery leads of the old battery before you disconnect them from the old battery,then remove the old battery & fit the new one being careful not to dislodge the jump leads then put the battery leads on the new battery.....hope this helps......cheers.

Yes you simply take the old one out and install the new one. Or you can, drive to your local Advance Auto Parts and purchase a new battery. They will remove the old battery and install the new one free of charge. Other Auto Parts Stores may do the same.
